The Limited Company (Ltd) is the most widespread legal form in Cyprus. Cyprus became a full member of the European Union, enhancing the jurisdiction’s political, economic and social benefits. Importantly, this jurisdiction is not considered to be a ‘tax haven’ and is therefore free from suspicions normally associated with such status. Despite this, Cyprus currently offers one of the lowest tax regime in the EU.
