Switzerland to Reopen the Borders with EU/EFTA States and the UK on June 15th

At the latest federal meeting last Friday, June 5th, the Swiss government re reviewed the epidemic situation and announced the reopening of its borders, not just with its 4 neighbouring countries, but also with all EU/EFTA states and the UK. The move is in line with that of many other Schengen countries. At the same date, during the informal video conference between the representative of the State Secretary of Switzerland, Mario Gattiker, and other Schengen justice and home affairs ministers, the majority of the ministers expressed their support for the idea of lifting entry restrictions within Europe as early as June 15th.
